Micro-Strip Hand Held Wire Strippers
The Micro-Strip Hand Held Wire Strippers are a range of Wire/Cable Stripping Tools designed for fine wire and fibre optic cables (18-32AWG) with interchangeable blades & wire guides to eliminate the need to purchase separate stripping tools for each different wire/cable size being processed. Several options are available from standard wire stripping to thermal wire stripping & fibre optic cables.
Features of the stripping tool:
| A - Handle Assembly: Standard stripping handle accepts interchangeable parts quickly and easily. |
| B - Fibre Guide: Selected for each nominal diameter of unstripped buffer or cable. Wrong sized fibre will not fit, assuring that the fibre is precisely positioned, properly stripped and not nicked or damaged. |
| C - Stripping Force: Applied longitudinally with the fibre. The chance for harmful drag against the blade is virtually eliminated, even with operator inattention or fatigue. |
| D - Fibre Guide Lock: Holds the fibre securely in position. Colour coded to match the cutter blade set. |
| E - Cutter Blade Set: Can be selected for each fibre coating or cladding diameter. Opposing blades self align around the fibre guide to assure concentric scoring and nick free fibre. |
| F - Strip Length Guide: Calibrated in 1mm increments for desired strip lengths. |
| G - Fibre Support Channel: Guides fibre being stripped in a straight line to prevent core damage from flexing and bending. For jacket stripping, cable support channel performs a similar function. |
| H - Spring Assembly: Keeps the handles apart, ready for the next fibre or cable. |
