It's Finished!

Series 4 announce the first Evo Cut ready
to go to Productronica in Munich.

The first machine will be shipped to our German agent for the
Productronica Show in Munich, Germany.

Work has now started on production machines
that will be ready to ship in the next few weeks.

It's nearly ready!

Series 4 announce the near completion of the
 New Evo Cut

We have been working hard here at Series 4 to complete the
New Evo Cut Wire Cutting Machine.

The first two prototypes will be going to customers for extensive
trials in the next week or so.

Units will hopefully available for sale in around 6 weeks time.

Series 4 announce details of a new UK
manufactured product range

We are proud to announce the new "Evo" range of cutting, stripping, de-reeling & production machines to be manufactured in the UK

This new range will represent excellent value for money but also
provide a robust build quality demanded by all industrial
applications.

Work started in late July 2011 on the new range that will roll out for worldwide sale from October 2011

Four initial machines are under way
with more planned for 2012 onwards.

programmable, all electric guillotine cutting machine for wires large
and small, and tubing etc.

New Demo facility now ready
and a further 2500sq feet as we were crammed in like
sardines before hand.

Following the purchase of our third unit and adding a further 2500 square feet to our factory space , we have now completed setting up our new demonstration room.

We look forward to welcoming many of our customers  over the coming years.

Series 4 have yet another Xmas Party !!

As we enjoyed the last one so much, we decided to do it all again.  This time with our special guest, the bosses Mum showing that  anyone can belly dance! 

Sadly the Belly Dancer does not work at Series 4.

We intend to have our next Xmas Party in December for a change.

July 2006

Kevin Joins Series 4

Kevin has joined the Series 4 team - working alongside Les, Richard & Wayne in the machine shop.
His programming skills in Heidenhain have been a real asset, helping him switch to our Fanuc control system.
Over the next few months Kevin will start Off Line programming using our latest software purchase CAD LINK 2000

Kevin says - "This week has just flown by - all the people at Series 4 are so friendly"

Series 4 invest £30,000 on new CNC Lathe

Richard is seen working on the new CNC Lathe with automatic 8 tool change station and automatic bar feed for unattended use.

This superb new machine has increased production and quality

Series 4 purchase & install new MITEL 3100 IP ISDN Voice over IP Phone System

This new phone system will allow us to have new dedicated phone numbers for all sections - allow remote home workers to appear in the office and link directly into our new sales contact database system.
The system should be installed by mid February - New phone numbers to be confirmed as soon as possible.

Series 4 achieve record sales ahead of schedule for the year

Series 4 buy Goldmine V6.5 Multi-user Contact Database management system with integrated 3rd party software that links directly to Exchequer Accounts Software.
 

Nepcon Brighton 2003

Myself (David McClure - Taking this picture) Hamid Beheshti, & Nigel Windsor (from Contract Cables) and Steve Tidball (Leadmaker Services - note: everybody commentated on his suntan) took the day out to visit Nepcon 2003 hosted at the Metropole Hotel Brighton.

We were a little disappointed with the turnout of stands. The event was advertised with 250 exhibitors but there was around 120 actual stands (A stand may have been showing for more than one manufacturer or his representative)  - we managed to do most of the show in just one morning.
The weather for the day was fantastic so after a seafront lunch took it easy to discuss the days work.

Today the 6th June our machine shop took delivery of one of the first Mini Mill Machines to hit the UK - This new state of the art CNC Milling Machine has just a 6ft sq footprint and is equipped with an automatic 10 position tool changer - Now all we have to do this weekend is read the 500 page manual and get it up and running by Monday morning !!

As from the 1st January 2003 Series 4 acquired the stock and business of Sabre UK Ltd - due to Graham & Sally Anderson Retiring although by the look of Graham at our Xmas works do he does not look too happy.

Unlike the Big Issue Vendors who tend to stop you in the street Michelle & Caroline are seen here modelling the latest issue of the Series 4 magazine.

We have now taken possession of our full useable space at Series 4
