We are the UK and European agents for Gorman Toroid Winding machines. With many hundreds of these machines in the field already, Gorman machines have proved to be very robust and reliable having been proven over 4 decades of manufacture. They are accurate, reliable and efficient.

The Gorman Star Winding Machine is the latest and most versatile
Bobbin Winder from Gorman Machine Corp.
It is built on the chassis of the proven Bobbineer Winder.
All the internal workings are changed along with the Electronic CNC Controller
which stores the programs entered for up to 1000 different levels and can be called up separately or in groups at any time.
The machine is driven by a powerful 3/4 HP DC Motor
through four different speed torque ranges
Electronic controlled traverse with a stepping motor drive for precision winding.

Model 900A

Automatic Sector Winding.
4", 6" or 8" Winding Heads
Variable speed CW or CCW selectable by vernier dial.
Motor: 3/4 HP Permanent Magnet DC with SCR control. Available as 220v 50/60 HZ.
Shuttle Speed Control by push button stop/start, Foot Switch or Variable speed Foot Pedal.

Spin Winder

The SPIN WINDER is the production equivalent of up to four single spindle machines,
and all in a convenient package just 22 inches wide.
Another advantage of the SPIN WINDER is that it lends itself readily to winding difficult bobbins
such as greatly unbalanced forms or unusual shapes which are difficult to hold safely for high speed rotation.

This model has all the features of the 900A and 920B toroid winders except for instant reversal of core rotation.
Available with 4" or 6" winding head.
Exclusive Gorman Jockey Stick core positioning device.
All components are bolt-on or plug-in.
Quick acting swing away upper section for quicker core insertion and removal.
